Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction as Site Medical Director
  • Collaborate on pediatric clinical protocol and workflow standardization

  • Oversee clinic operations alongside the clinic manager
  • Supervise pediatric providers
  • Maintain an active clinical practice while fulfilling SMD responsibilities

Full Job Description
Yakima Pediatrics needs a Pediatrician to oversee all aspects of pediatric medical care and delivery in this leadership role at our large, single specialty practice. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

  • As a key member of CHCW Management Team, the Site Medical Director (SMD) provides leadership, direction, vision, and executes the organizational strategic plan, growth and expansion of services, participates in medical decision-making, and development of policies
  • Collaborates on standardization of pediatric clinical protocols and workflows across the organization
  • Participates in the recruitment of clinical staff and assists with site specific onboarding process
  • Works closely with CMO and COO to provide direction regarding all clinical issues
  • Collaborates with the clinic manager regarding general operations of the clinic
  • Supervises providers
  • Maintains a clinical practice with dedicated time for SMD responsibilities and meetings

ON-SITE SUPPORT

  • Pharmacy on site
  • Strong and robust Primary Care Behavioral Health with BHCs on site and warm handoffs within minutes
  • Teen Health Clinic
  • Clinical Support: 1-1.5:1 MAs, Pediatric RNs, after-hours nurse triage, and case managers
  • Providers: Great blend of new grads, tenured pediatricians, and pediatric nurse practitioners


COMPENSATION & PERKS

  • Base Salary: $225,000-$267,400. Salary range is based on encounters per patient clinic days (18-26 tier level), Site Medical Director oversight, and experience. Additional incentive for meeting quality/engagement goals

QUALIFICATIONS

  • DEA certificate
