Join Our Team as a Registered Dietitian - Make a Real Impact in Patient Care

The Registered Dietitian I - This position is focused in pediatric nephrology/renal. In this role, you will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to empower patients through evidence-based nutrition care. From promoting wellness and maintaining optimal health to supporting recovery from acute and chronic illness, your expertise will play a vital role in improving lives. This position involves assessment and individualized care for our diverse patient population, including patients requiring enteral nutrition and/or therapeutic diets, based on the patient's health care needs.

Shift: Full Time (40 hours), Day Shift, Weekend work required

Location: Johns Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore, MD 21287

Requirements/Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in nutrition or a related field from an accredited college or university.Individuals earning the RDN credentialed after 1/2024 must hold a Master's Degree. Bachelor's Degree acceptable if RDN credentialing was obtained prior to 1/2024
  • Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration
  • A Licensed Dietitian-Nutritionist with the State of Maryland or eligibility to apply for licensure before hire
  • Prior Renal/Nephrology experience preferred. All levels of experience will be considered
  • Candidates with strong interest to learn renal dietetics will be considered.

Salary Range: Minimum 37.02/hour - Maximum 61.11/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
