Compensation & Benefits- Total Compensation Package: Valued between $98,000-$111,000.
- Annual Salary: $80,000-$90,000, based on experience and qualifications.

About the RoleEyas Landing - Avondale offers a unique opportunity to provide therapy through our Merlin Day Academy, a fully integrated educational and therapeutic environment for children ages 6-14 years old with autism spectrum disorder (ASD), ADHD, sensory processing disorder, and other neurodiverse needs.
As a
Physical Therapist (PT) Department Lead / Supervisor at Eyas Landing - Avondale, you will provide physical therapy to children and families while overseeing a team of Physical Therapists. You'll foster each child's mobility, gross motor development, and functional independence growth.
Responsibilities:
- Providing individualized therapy and therapeutic rotations.
- Implementing therapeutic approaches such as DIR/Floortime, Developmental Treatment, Motor Skills Acquisition, and Intentional Relationship Model (IRM).
- Collaborating daily with occupational and speech therapists, as well as social workers.
- Documenting progress and communicating with families to support continuity of care.
- Providing mentorship, clinical guidance, and performance feedback to Physical Therapists to ensure consistency in care delivery and growth.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
- Active Illinois Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) license through IDFPR
- Experience providing behavior therapy services to children with autism and/or other neurodevelopmental differences
Working Environment and Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift at least 35 lbs, including but not limited to lifting children, therapy equipment etc.
- Ability to walk and/or run if needed to keep clients safe.
- Ability to implement behavior management techniques, based on training provided by the company.
- Ability to use hands and arms to prepare and perform required therapy tasks.
- Ability to utilize keyboard, desktop, and ipad to complete documentation required for funders.
