Overview

The Section of General Pediatrics at Dartmouth Health Children’s and The Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for its Pediatrics Department within our Community Group Division in Bedford and Manchester, NH.  The ideal candidate should possess a strong commitment to quality patient and family centered care. The ability to practice well as part of a medical team is essential to the success of this role.

 

The role will include some evening hours. The clinic in Manchester is open until 8pm and there is a rotation to cover these hours.  From 5:00-8:00pm there is always 1-MD (doc on call) and 1-APP. 

 

• Group will consist of 8 MDs and 3 APPs in an outpatient only practice

• Weekend call is shared with our DH Concord colleagues.  Weekends and holidays patients are seen in the DH in Manchester Pediatric location

• 32 hours of face-to-face patient contact time for a 1.0 FTE

• This Outpatient practices sees patients for annual physicals, sick visits, and some mental health care

• The department is supported by nursing staff, certified medical assistants, receptionists, a resource specialist, and a behavioral health clinician

• Associate providers are supported by the medical home team of physicians for the department
