Your ResponsibilitiesAs a
Software Design Engineer for the
John Deere ISG-Electrification team, located in
Fargo, North Dakota you will....
• Be a member on a motivated team of software developers who create software solutions critical to our growing electrification needs
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team to deliver software implementations that support system solutions.
• Apply modern-day software verification techniques to ensure the quality of your team deliverables
• Contribute to the delivery of cutting-edge electrification products that set the foundation for John Deere's future of precision, performance, and productivity.

• Understanding of embedded software development and tools including compilers, linkers, and locators
• Understanding of development and debugging tools (source level debuggers, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, multi-meters, etc.)
• Understanding of microcontroller peripherals and systems (PWM outputs, boot loaders, A/D converters, watchdog timers, interrupt and trap functions, serial and parallel interfaces, etc.)
• Good written and verbal communication skills (English)

EducationIdeally, you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent degree
