Job DescriptionResponsibilitiesIn this position...The Powertrain Calibration Supervisor leads the team through global development, signoff, and release of engine calibrations for Powerpack applications, overseeing program timing, resources, and quality across cross-functional teams including engine, transmission, vehicle engineering, and EESE. This leader manages program drives, resolves launch-related issues, and reports program health to leadership, while also building team capability through coaching, performance management, and morale-focused initiatives. Success requires strong leadership, the ability to juggle multiple programs simultaneously, and a willingness to travel.
What you'll do...- Lead powertrain calibration section to develop, signoff, and release engine calibrations for Powerpack applications globally.
- Establish timing and delivery of calibration activities in support of programs.
- Manage all Powertrain calibration deliverables and attributes (Calibration Release Process).
- Work with engine, transmission, vehicle engineering, VEME, climate control, and EESE to deliver attributes.
- Lead calibration section during program drives, including development, signoff, and PVP.
- Lead Quality activities and road map consolidation for Powerpack applications.
- Establish resource requirements including personnel, travel, and vehicles.
- Lead launch issue resolution of VoCF, durability and plant incidents and lead report out at new model launch meetings.
- Report program status in health chart and support Integration Team updates and report out at meetings.
- Lead pulse improvement initiatives for Section to remove workplace obstacles and improve team morale.
- Conduct performance reviews and coaching of section personnel and participate in GSR related workgroup discussions.
- Able to manage multiple issues on multiple programs effectively and efficiently
- Outstanding leadership skills with demonstrated ability to deliver results
- Effective coaching and mentoring skills
- Willingness to Travel 15% - 20% (Nationwide 1 - 2-week duration)

This position is leadership level 6 and ranges from $115,500-$218,100.Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.

QualificationsYou'll have...- Minimum of Bachelor degree or equivalent
- 5+ years experience of P/T Calibration including program delivery through launch and quality feedback
- Minimum 7 years of Powertrain experience
- Understanding of both the vehicle and dyno calibration processes
- Must have excellent oral and written communication skills
- Willingness to Travel 15% - 20% (Nationwide 1-2-week duration)
