Responsibilities

  • Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for PCF process
  • Ensure consistent program planning for PCF timing
  • Provide direction for PFC fixture designs
  • Apply lessons learned to enhance future programs
  • Manage funding for TDM build team
  • Plan PCF resources for vehicle launch systems (VLS)
  • Oversee time and data management for PCF reviews
  • Coordinate PCF activities for VLS
  • Validate Bill of Materials (BOM) for PCF
  • Ensure availability of parts for PCF1
  • Facilitate PCF fixture prove-out responsibility
  • Act as supplier contact for PCF activities
  • Coordinate training for external suppliers with STA

Job Description

New people leader position to lead PCF (Part Coordination Fixture) build process across all FNA new model programs. Facilitate PCF process on each program in support of VLS. Plan TDM PCF build team manpower and planning. Ensure process discipline across program.

Responsibilities

What you'll do:
  • SME for PCF Process
  • Ensure consistent planning of PCF/timing per program (Dates on VPP)
  • Consistent direction for PFC fixture designs
  • Apply lessons learned to next program
  • Manage TDM build team funding
  • PCF resource planning for VLS
  • Manage time and data management for PCF Ok to Proceed and Exit Reviews
  • Coordinate PCF activities for VLS
  • Validate BOM for PCF build
  • Ensure parts are ordered and available for PCF1
  • Responsible to SFB0 - PCF fixture prove-out
  • Responsible to have PCF fixtures ready for PCF1
  • Supplier PCF scope
  • Supplier contact for PCF activity
  • Coordinate training for outside suppliers with STA


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:
  • BSc, Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical or a related field)
  • 10+ years' experience in the Automotive Manufacturing industry
  • Proven experience in PCF (Part Coordination Fixtures)
  • Experience with sheet metal assembly processes and coordination
  • Experience with sheet metal stamping operations
  • Experience with checking fixtures and metrology
  • Experience with part dimensional data
