Job Summary & Responsibilities
Role Overview
The Payroll Analyst 2 will manage and execute endtoend payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely payment for employees. This role requires strong technical payroll knowledge, attention to detail, and partnership with HR, Accounting, and Tax.
Key Responsibilities
Payroll Processing & Compliance
Process biweekly/semimonthly payroll, including salaries, bonuses, and equityrelated payments.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
Review payroll reports, deductions, and tax withholdings for accuracy.
Reconciliations & Accounting Support
Prepare payroll journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.
Support accruals for payroll, bonuses, and benefits.
Coordinate payrollrelated audit and SOX support.
Equity & Benefits Coordination
Partner with HR and Stock Administration on equity compensation payroll impacts.
Support payroll aspects of benefits, garnishments, and leaves.
Process Improvement
Identify opportunities to automate or streamline payroll processes.
Assist with system upgrades, implementations, or vendor changes.
CrossFunctional Collaboration
Serve as a point of contact for HR, Finance, and employees on payroll matters.
Support yearend activities including W2s and audits.
Qualifications
Required
4 6+ years of payroll processing experience in a complex organization.
Strong knowledge of payroll tax and wage/hour regulations.
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
High level of accuracy, discretion, and attention to detail.
Preferred
CPP (Certified Payroll Professional).
Experience with equity compensation payroll.
Experience in a SOXcompliant environment.
Payroll system experience (ADP).
Compensation & Growth
Base Salary Range:
$77,840.00 - $116,760.00, offered in good faith and based on experience, location, and qualifications.
