Full Job Description
We are looking to hire a Paving Director to oversee our total TX operations. this person could be out of our Dallas, San Antonio or New Braunfels offices. As Director of Paving Operations at Keeley, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight for paving operations across assigned regional offices nationwide, ensuring consistency, performance, and operational excellence.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize the assigned regional offices operations, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and direction to project managers, site supervisors, and field crews, fostering a high-performance culture.
  • Establish and implement best practices for efficiency, productivity, and quality control in paving operations.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop budgets, forecasts, and operational strategies to maximize profitability.
  • Oversee all paving projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure all work meets or exceeds industry standards and client expectations.
  • Identify and resolve project risks and challenges, implementing proactive solutions to maintain efficiency and profitability.
  • Work closely with estimating and pre-construction teams to assess project feasibility and ensure accurate bid proposals.
  • Oversee fleet and equipment utilization, ensuring proper maintenance, deployment, and efficiency of paving machinery.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to ensure timely acquisition of materials, supplies, and subcontracted services.
  • Analyze operational data to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Enforce company safety policies and ensure full compliance with OSHA, DOT, and other applicable regulations.
  • Promote a culture of safety, conducting regular site visits, audits, and training programs to minimize incidents.
  • Collaborate with general contractors, developers, and property owners to understand project requirements and deliver results.
  • Negotiate and manage contracts, ensuring fair and profitable agreements that align with company capabilities.
  • Drive innovation in paving techniques, materials, and technologies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Implement process improvement initiatives to enhance workforce productivity and operational effectiveness.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor strategies, and regulatory changes to adapt and maintain a competitive edge.


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years in construction, engineering, or related industries performing the similar primary responsibilities listed.
