Full Job Description
The Patient Access Trainer champions the onboarding, continuous development, and performance optimization of Seattle Children's Hospital (SCH) scheduling and registration staff. Acting as both a learning architect and an engaging facilitator, this role designs, delivers, and evaluates comprehensive training programs that empower staff to provide Excellent Customer Service to patients and families. By aligning instructional strategies with SCH strategic goals, this position ensures team members achieve operational competency during onboarding, ultimately fostering long-term confidence, reducing staff burnout, and decreasing turnover.

Required Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Communications, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
3 to 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting, contact center, or corporate training capacity, with a demonstrated background in both curriculum design and classroom facilitation.
An equivalent combination of education and highly relevant experience may be considered.

Required Credentials
Epic Principal Trainer in Cadence within 12 months of hire

Preferred
Epic Principal Trainer (PT), Prelude, or Cadence Certifications
Industry-standard instructional design credentials (CPTD, CCMP, etc.)
Experience managing training paths within a Learning Management System (LMS)
Previous experience training in a pediatric healthcare setting or a high-volume healthcare contact center.

Compensation Range
$80,715.00 - $121,073.00 per year

Salary Information

This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
