Parts Supervisor plays a critical leadership role in ensuring the safe, efficient, and customer-focused delivery of parts operations. Based in
Acheson, ABor
Hinton, ABthisrole oversees warehouse and parts distribution activities while driving operational excellence, team development, and continuous improvement.
You will partner closely with branch leadership and cross-functional teams to align parts operations with businessobjectives, enhance customer satisfaction, and support strong financial performance. This is an opportunity to lead a high-impact team in a dynamic mining environment.
Work Location:Acheson, AB or Hinton, AB
Salary:$100,000 - $115,000per annum
Work Arrangement:Fixed on site - working on location each day
Schedule:Monday - Friday,7:30am- 4 pm
WhatYou'llDo- Lead and oversee daily parts operations, including order desk and warehouse functions, ensuring safe and productive work practices
- Partner with branch leadership to ensure efficient and profitable operations aligned with business objectives
- Drive operational efficiency, productivity improvements, and cost control initiatives across the department
- Coordinate with service, sales, andlogisticsteams to support seamless operations and customer satisfaction
- Oversee parts ordering,expeditecustomer and vendor orders, and communicate delivery timelines effectively
- Support inventory processes including stock monitoring, purchasing recommendations, and component exchange programs
- Lead, coach, and develop partsand warehousepersonnel, including training, performance management, and workforce planning
- Monitor key performance indicators,identifyimprovement opportunities, and implement process enhancements
What You BringYou bring
experience in parts or supply chain operationsalong with a collaborative and thoughtful approach to leadership. You focus on supporting team success, building positive working relationships, and contributing to continuous improvement in a way that aligns with organizational values.Other requirements include:
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in parts, warehouse, or supply chain operations within heavy equipment, mining, or a related industry
- Ability to review operational information,identifyissues, and support practical process improvements
- Comfort working with computer systems and technology to support parts, inventory, reporting, and day-to-day operational processes
- Financial awareness, including understanding how pricing, margin decisions, invoice approvals, and operational choicesimpactoverall business performance
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with branch leadership, team members, and cross-functional partners
- Availability to travel between Acheson and Hinton up to 50% of the time,approximately 1-2 weeks per month
Nice to have:- Journeyperson / Red Seal Parts Technician certification, or equivalent parts training
- Post-secondary education in operations, business administration, supply chain, or a related field
- Experience in heavy equipment, mining, construction, or a related industrial environment
