Salary: $120,000 - $250,000 / year Depending on Experience and Performance
(The Parts Manager Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Monthly Compensation of $5,720. The position may also pay commission compensation which is based on the value or amount of closed sales achieved from $0.00 (if no sales are made) without any upper limit other than sales performance. The position also may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.)
Job DescriptionWhat You Will Do: - Oversee the Auto Parts operations for the dealership
- Interact with the Service Technicians to coordinate parts for vehicle reconditioning
- Order parts from suppliers based on the Reconditioning Department and Technicians' requests
- Receive, unpack, and store parts in appropriate storage areas so they are readily available when needed
- Takes inventory and maintains records of parts received
- Process parts warranties and parts returns as necessary
- Provide inventory fulfillment to outlying stores
- Trigger and execute arbitration and transportation claims
- Manage wholesale units to include a weekly log for visibility
- Deliver ongoing quality assurance for on-lot vehicles
- Reporting when needed and as appropriate
What We're Looking For: - Automotive industry experience
- Have a general knowledge of vehicle mechanical operations
- Strong computer knowledge, including spreadsheets, word processing, data entry, and inventory systems
- Strong math, analytical, and problem-solving skills required
- Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks and follow up consistently
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to take ownership of the details, large and small
- Decision-making that demonstrates good judgment
QualificationsQualifications:- All applicants must be authorized to work in the USA
- All applicants must perform duties and responsibilities in a safe manner
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, credit report, and valid driver license
- High school diploma or the equivalent.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
- One year of supervisory experience.
- Experience in an automotive parts department.
- Excellent communication and managerial skills.
- Some sales experience. •
