A Snapshot of Your Day The Parts Manager is responsible for managing customer order activity through the order fulfillment cycle. The successful candidate will serve as a point of contact to help resolve issues with orders. The Parts Manager will embody the fact that they are the "Voice of the customer" within the company. This is a hybrid role working 1st shift Mon.- Friday (7:00AM - 4:00PM). How You'll Make an Impact * Receiving orders from internal as well as external customers, monitoring status, expediting as required, proactively communicating with the customer if there are changes or delays, and responding to customer inquiries.
Salary - $64,000 - $109,000
How You'll Make an Impact - Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and requires independent analysis, decision-making skills, using prior experience and knowledge of company policies and procedures to resolve non-standard problems.
- Required to work with various departments and levels of management to resolve customer issues, both as an individual contributor and a facilitator of multi-disciplined teams.
- Demonstrate expertise in problem solving, bringing new ideas and creative solutions to existing processes and issues.
- Will act as a highly functioning team member to assist all within the department.
What You Bring (Requirements) - Education & Experience: 4-year degree from an accredited institution OR 4+ years of hands-on experience in customer service, logistics, or operations business environment.
- Industry Expertise: Background in Steam Turbines, Energy, International Operations, or Heavy Manufacturing is highly beneficial.
- Systems Proficiency: Experience working with MRP/ERP systems (SAP System experience strongly preferred). Proficient across Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
- Teamwork: Proven ability to work in complex operational teams and positively influence diverse cross-functional partners.
- Process & Data Orientation: Data-driven mindset with a passion for adopting tech-forward tools and processes.
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with demonstrated success collaborating across diverse departments, geographies, and cultures.
- Travel & Global Readiness: Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally. Must possess or have the ability to obtain a valid passport and required international visas.
