Job description:
Responsibilities -- Department Operations: Sets goals and objectives for the department and strives to consistently meet them; Establishes and administers an annual operating budget; Oversees sales, expenses and inventory to maintain profitability goals
- Sales: Directs outside parts, wholesale and counter sales efforts; Develops department sales promotions and advertising
- Inventory Management: Maintains a balanced inventory across Service, Body Shop, Wholesale and individual customers; Manages parts inventory turnover and minimizes parts obsolescence
- Team Management: Hires, trains, coaches and motivates all Parts Department team members
- Customer Satisfaction: Promotes a high-quality level of service to all customers - both internal and external -& ensures maximum customer satisfaction
- Reporting: Monitors daily reports such as DOE, DOC and sales productivity
Requirements -- (3) years of experience managing all day-to-day aspects of an automotive parts department.
- Goal oriented, self-motivated, well organized with strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills.
- Manage daily interactions with all dealership departments
- Able to build & maintain strong working relationships with department managers and colleagues.
- Experienced with CDK and Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) a plus.
