Automotive Parts Manager
$90,000 - $130,000.00 + Weekly Pay + Comprehensive Benefits

(Wage is comprised of base salary and % of department profit to be determined as part of pay plan). The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, education, ect.

The Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing the parts department and employees. It is also the Parts Managers responsibility to return a satisfactory profit on dealer capital invested in parts inventory.
  • Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the parts department based on Retail, Wholesale and Customer-Pay (Repair Order) sales
  • Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the service department, body shop, wholesale accounts and the do-it-yourself public
  • Establish pricing parameters in each customer category that generates sufficient gross profit to produce a satisfactory profit, while maintaining customer loyalty
  • Establish individual parts inventory levels and balances them for maximum turnover
  • Monitor and adjust Days' Supply for critical and fast-moving parts' categories and numbers
  • Monitor and adjust inventory to minimize obsolescence
  • Maintain Inventory Aging guidelines
  • Direct shipping and receiving efforts to ensure timely processing
  • Manage the parts inventory and track expenses
  • Work with the service manager and shop foreman to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs
  • Continue to maintain Asbury's value, quality, and integrity
  • Strong customer service skills are a must
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills required
  • Experience with CDK or Reynolds is a plus
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years' experience as an Automotive Parts Employee
  • Previous Automotive Parts Management experience required
  • Must be able to manage in a fast paced work environment
  • Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment screens (background & drug test)
