DescriptionParts Category SpecialistABOUT THE ROLEAs part of the Americas team, SANY is seeking a driven, forward-thinking, and highly motivated
Parts Category Specialist, to develop and execute category strategies that drive profitable aftermarket growth across SANY America's parts business. This position owns assigned product categories throughout their lifecycle, including supplier management, pricing, inventory optimization, new product introduction, sales support, and market analysis.
The successful candidate will work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Service, Purchasing, Product Support, and suppliers to improve product availability, increase market share, and maximize lifecycle revenue.
With deep investment and backing from SANY Group, the Americas business continues to grow rapidly, and this role is critical to delivering competitive, customer-focused products that support long-term market expansion.
With current revenues over $500 million, SANY America continues to make strong progress and significant investments in the Americas market; the organization is now pursuing an aggressive growth strategy and is looking to move quickly beyond this initial platform and increase market share.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESCategory Management- Develop and execute annual category growth strategies.
- Own assigned product categories throughout the product lifecycle.
- Identify market opportunities and competitive gaps.
- Monitor category performance and recommend corrective actions.
Product Development- Introduce new aftermarket product lines.
- Develop business cases for new product offerings.
- Manage supplier relationships and sourcing activities.
- Coordinate product launches across internal departments.
Pricing & Profitability- Develop pricing recommendations that maximize growth and profitability.
- Monitor competitive pricing and market positioning.
- Support promotional pricing initiatives.
- Analyze margins and recommend pricing improvements.
Inventory & Demand Planning- Partner with Parts Planning & Distribution to optimize inventory levels.
- Improve product availability while minimizing excess inventory.
- Analyze demand trends and forecast future requirements.
Sales & Dealer Support- Train Parts Sales representatives and dealers on assigned product categories.
- Develop sales tools and product literature.
- Support key customer opportunities.
- Assist with technical product inquiries.
Market Intelligence- Analyze industry trends and competitor offerings.
- Identify opportunities to increase aftermarket penetration.
- Monitor warranty trends and product performance.
- Recommend continuous product improvements.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- 5+ years of experience in aftermarket parts, product management, category management, purchasing, or technical sales
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Heavy equipment or construction equipment industry experience
- SAP experience
- Pricing strategy experience

EDUCATION- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
