Full Job Description
About the Role:

Glean is seeking a Partner SE Deployment Manager to build and operationalize the partner services motion that helps qualified partners deliver successful customer outcomes with Glean. This is a hands-on working-lead role within Partnerships: you will design the operating model, develop partner capability, establish delivery standards and escalation paths, and stay close to real customer and partner engagements as the motion matures. The role reports to the Manager, Partner Solutions Engineering and is remote in the United States, with travel of up to 25% and flexibility to work with global partners.

You will:

  • Build the partner services operating model, including engagement paths, roles and responsibilities, governance, quality controls, escalation mechanisms, and feedback loops.
  • Establish a practical maturity path that helps partners progress from initial preparation to guided delivery and, ultimately, independent customer delivery.
  • Work directly with partners and customer-facing teams to develop delivery capability through real engagements, enablement, coaching, and reusable playbooks.
  • Define how Glean, the partner, and the customer share accountability across implementation, adoption, outcomes, and ongoing support.
  • Create a thoughtful approach for selecting, segmenting, and matching services partners to customer opportunities based on capability, customer needs, and delivery risk.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Partner Solutions Engineering, Partner Development, Applied AI and Post-Sales, Product, Engineering, Support, Technical Enablement, and Partner Operations to improve partner delivery.
  • Establish measures for partner participation, delivery quality, customer outcomes, adoption, consumption, and expansion, and use those measures to guide investment and improvement.
  • Represent field needs in partner tooling, support processes, and product feedback while helping internal teams build confidence in partner-led delivery.
  • Apply AI thoughtfully to improve services operations, partner capability, delivery quality, or measurement while maintaining appropriate human review and quality controls.

About you:

  • Experience building or scaling a professional services, consulting, delivery, or partner-led services practice in an enterprise SaaS, technology, or consulting environment.
  • Experience managing services operations such as delivery quality, capacity, utilization, profitability, governance, or escalations.
  • A track record of creating lightweight, repeatable processes and operating mechanisms in an early-stage, fast-growing, or ambiguous environment.
  • Experience developing partner or delivery-team capability through customer work, coaching, enablement, or structured readiness programs.
  • Strong technical credibility across enterprise applications, integrations, cloud platforms, APIs, or AI solutions, with the judgment to evaluate approaches, identify risk, and guide escalations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence Sales, Delivery, Product, Engineering, Support, and executive stakeholders without relying on formal authority.
  • A data-informed approach to improving services motions, including the ability to connect operating measures and field feedback to decisions and customer outcomes.
  • Comfort operating as a hands-on individual contributor and working leader before a larger team or resource model is in place.
  • Practical AI fluency, including experience using AI to improve delivery, operations, partner capability, or productivity and the judgment to validate outputs and manage customer risk.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to make complex tradeoffs clear to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Location:

  • This role is hybrid, with four days per week in either our San Francisco or Mountain View office.

Compensation & Benefits:

The On-Target Earnings (OTE) range for this role is $209,000 - $300,000 annually. Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive compensation, Medical, Vision, and Dental coverage, a generous time-off policy, and the opportunity to contribute to your 401k plan to support your long-term goals.
