  • Overseeing and delivering comprehensive paralegal and legal operations support across deal, fund, and alternatives workflows.
  • Managing end-to-end document execution, transaction and regulatory coordination, matter management, and audit-ready recordkeeping.
  • Being the primary point of accountability for workflow governance, quality control, tracking, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring all activities are performed in accordance with established policies, procedures, and job aids and under appropriate legal supervision.

Qualifications

Required
  • 4+ years of experience managing paralegal, legal operations, or transaction support functions across complex deal, fund, or alternatives environments.
  • 4+ years of working knowledge of document execution workflows, approval governance, regulatory coordination, and records management requirements.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent workflows, maintain detailed trackers, and deliver accurate, audit-ready documentation.
  • Experience coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders, including legal, compliance, finance, investment teams, custodians, and external counsel.
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in Finance, Business, Law, Criminal Justice, or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
  • Ability to travel 10%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
  • Must live in either Southern CA to be on client site in Newport Beach area or Austin, TX or NYC to be at client site Monday - Friday.
Preferred
  • Experience in the Financial Services/Asset Management industry
  • Familiarity with alternative/private fund structures and "acting as agent/adviser" signature constructs.
  • Notary experience and/or experience managing wet-ink notarization packages.
  • Consulting firm experience, preferably directly working for Big 4 firms supporting enterprise clients
  • Experience supporting multiple time-zone-driven execution coverage
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $88,800 to $130,200.

You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
