Are you a detail-oriented legal professional who enjoys investigative work, analyzing complex information, and helping attorneys build successful cases? We're seeking an experienced Paralegal / Legal Assistant IV to play a vital role in supporting high-profile legal matters from investigation through litigation. In this role, you'll work alongside attorneys and investigators to uncover facts, analyze evidence, interview witnesses, develop litigation strategies, and help bring complex cases to resolution. Your work will directly contribute to legal outcomes that make a meaningful difference.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Analyze case files and evidence to assess litigation potential and identify applicable legal authorities.
  • Conduct detailed investigations by gathering facts, reviewing records, and identifying critical evidence.
  • Plan and execute strategies for obtaining additional information, documents, and witness testimony.
  • Conduct interviews with witnesses and stakeholders to develop factual support for legal proceedings.
  • Perform on-site reviews and research to evaluate the relevance and strength of evidence.
  • Organize, interpret, and analyze data from multiple sources and information systems.
  • Identify trends, patterns, and deficiencies through detailed review of records and supporting documentation.
  • Prepare reports, summaries, charts, graphs, and other visual exhibits used in litigation and case presentations.
  • Conduct statistical and analytical reviews to support case development and legal arguments.
  • Collaborate closely with attorneys to develop recommendations, case strategies, and supporting documentation.
  • Manage and maintain legal exhibits, case files, records, and evidence throughout the lifecycle of a case.
  • Assist with trial preparation, court filings, and witness coordination.
  • Serve as a knowledgeable resource during litigation and, when required, testify regarding exhibits and case documentation.


Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or higher.
  • 5+ years of investigative, law enforcement, compliance, or related experience. Healthcare fraud experience is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical, research, and interviewing skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Position Information:

  • Full Time, US Citizen, Non-Exempt (SCA)
  • Ability to successfully complete a 10-year background investigation.
  • Hourly Rate: $40.76
  • Drug Free Workplace. This prohibition includes legally prescribed medical marijuana or when legal under state law.
