Full Job Description
The Challenge:

Take-Two, a global leader in the fast-growing interactive entertainment industry, is seeking a Paralegal to provide day-to-day administrative and paralegal support to our immigration team, partnering with external immigration providers and internal HR to provide a curated experience for employees requiring work authorization support in the countries where we are located. The Paralegal will support seamless processing of North American employee immigration files by serving as a point of contact for employees, external counsel, and internal teams.

Responsibilities:
• Day-to-day case management of routine business immigration matters in the United States and Canada, including but not limited to H-1B, L-1, O-1, TN, PERM, and I-140 petitions (US), along with Canadian work permit applications and employment-based Permanent Residence applications
• Initiate and track matters with external counsel for new hires, intra-company transfers, labor certifications, and employment-based immigrant applications
• Provide regular case updates to employees and stakeholders, including email updates, HR-facing trackers, and status calls
• Give guidance on immigration processes to employees to ensure they have full understanding of the required documentation and timelines;
• Act as a resource for HRBP, Talent Acquisition, and external counsel for general workflow processes
• Prepare immigration-related letters and documents that align with country-specific immigration or entry requirements
• As necessary, perform research to support immigration cases, such as background on a specialization or industry, current wages, processing procedures, processing speed options, consular processes, etc.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • At least 2-3 years of Canadian and US immigration law experience.
  • In-house legal experience highly desirable.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing demands.
  • Attention to detail and thorough documentation skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Broad knowledge of current events and pop culture.
  • Passion for video games highly desirable.

The pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $65,700 and $97,260 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for employees in regular roles may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, provided that temporary or intern roles will not be eligible for many of these payments or benefits. Details of participation in compensation and benefit plans (if applicable) will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.If hired, employee will be in an ~at-will position~ and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
