The successful candidate will initially be assigned to the Independent Prosecutions Unit until at least March 31, 2027, and, depending on circumstances, may subsequently support the Litigation Unit for the remainder of the term. The incumbent prepares files and court documents, provides legal technical support and guidance to lawyers, and is responsible for the creation and management of systems of organization, particularly in relation to legal document collection. The incumbent acts as a critical resource to the litigation team and is required to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

- Post-secondary certification/course work as a paralegal or legal assistant
- Experience and/or training in providing legal or paralegal support
- Experience in the development and implementation of record keeping systems
- Experience in the area of civil litigation would be an asset
Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above will be equally considered.
