Experienced Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner Needed in North Texas

Methodist Medical Group (MMG), a premier physician-led organization affiliated with Methodist Health System in Dallas, Texas, is actively seeking a board-certified Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner to join our interdisciplinary team in North Texas.

To support the continued growth and strategic staffing plans we are seeking to recruit a dedicated, patient-focused physician to join our growing team. This exceptional opportunity is well-suited Nurse Practitioner who thrives in a collaborative medical group environment and is committed to delivering high-quality care.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide inpatient only palliative care consultations for hospitalized patients with serious or life-limiting illnesses
  • Lead and participate in family meetings and goals-of-care discussions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including nursing, social work, chaplaincy, and case management
  • Support transitions of care, including coordination with hospice when appropriate
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and program development


Qualifications:
  • Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
  • Texas medical license (or ability to obtain)
  • Texas DEA
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills
  • Commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care
