Job Description

PACS Administrator - Imaging Admin at Providence St. Jude Medical Center, Fullerton, CA. This position is full-time and will work 8-hour, Variable shifts.

Responsible for overall analysis, system design, development, and support of the various complex computer applications equipment and systems. This position also maintains applications security, maintains both internally developed and vendor supplied executables within the appropriate executable paths. This position organizes, trains, monitors and implements information system projects. This position assists the Imaging Service Line in the operations of the PACS system for Imaging and Cardiology Departments.

Required Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Computer Science or Radiology Sciences or related field or equivalent education/experience.
  • Within 1 year of hire: Certified DICOM Integration Professional (CDIP) or Imaging Informatics Professional (IIP) *Preferred for caregivers hired prior to February 2025. (Need to Grandfather existing caregivers without certification).
  • 3 years of experience in the use of desktop software such as Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project and MS Access.
  • 1 year of work related experience in the Diagnostic Imaging field.
  • 1 year of current experience in the management of a PACS System at a major medical center.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Radiology Sciences or related field or equivalent education/experience.
  • 5 years of work related experience in the Information Technology field.
  • 3 years of Supervisory experience.
