DescriptionPackaging Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for leading packaging development for new product launches, reformulations and product modifications. This includes sourcing within target cost, engineering, development, testing, and shipping.
- Ensure that all package testing and validation happens according to protocol and specifications. This includes primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging.
- Works closely with cross functional partners including Marketing, Creative, Product Development and Operations to ensure success.
- Leads development and maintain strong relationships with external suppliers including packaging suppliers, CM's and 3PL.
- Leads the Improvement and optimization the quality and performance of existing core products. Track packaging quality issues, determine root cause, implement CAPAs, track in-market response.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Package Engineering or other related engineering fields
- 3-5 years of experience in package development project work or equivalent experience, preferably in the skin care, cosmetics, consumer goods or related field
- Strong technical drawing review, evaluation, and approval
- Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal and communications skills
Work Environment
This is a hybrid role where you are required to be in the office 1 day per week and 1 extra day per month. In addition to these dates, if the role requires you to be in the office to complete your job function, then you are required to be in the office. The office is located in San Ramon, CA.
Salary Range: $84000-$105000
The pay range represents the low and high end of the salary range we reasonably expect to pay for this position at the time of posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee's pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, to geographic location, experience, education, skills, qualifications, performance, and business or organizational needs.
