Qualifications

  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to care planning and coordination.

Full Job Description
West Pavilion Primary Care is seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their busy practice caring or patients of all ages. The highly diverse patient population is well cared for by a team of providers. As a member of the care team, you will join Family and Internal Medicine Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, RN Care Managers, LMSW Social Workers, Pharmacy, and a team of highly functioning support staff.

We care for patients of all ages so we can only consider Physician Assistants or Family Nurse practitioners. Experienced (2+ years) is preferred.

To provide the best patient care, the office is open extended hours providing a flexible schedule. Lab, urgent care and imaging are conveniently located within the building.

Qualifications:

Nurse Practitioner:
  • Required Master's Degree Nurse Practitioners who obtained their education and certification after 2000 must show evidence of completion of a master's, post-master's or doctorate from a Nurse Practitioner program that is accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission
  • 3 years of relevant experience current, relevant clinical experience
  • Previous experience functioning in a collaborative role as a Nurse Practitioner
  • LIC-Nurse Practitioner (NP) - State of Michigan
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS)


Physician Assistant:
  • Required Master's Degree Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant educational program
  • LIC-Physician Assistant - State of Michigan
  • CRT-Physician Asst Certified (PA-C) - NCCPA National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS)
