Project & Operational Excellence is looking to hire a P&OE Operations Manager. The P&OE Operations Manager will provide strategic support to the Head of Project Operations & Excellence (P&OE) in executing departmental priorities and advancing operational excellence initiatives across A&CM. The position will help drive organizational effectiveness, project delivery improvement, project controls governance, PMIS strategy, business process transformation, and performance management initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

-Assist the Head of P&OE in developing and executing a cohesive strategy to enhance the effectiveness of Project Controls, PMIS/e-Builder, Business Process Improvement, Performance Reporting, and Operational Excellence functions.
-Lead and coordinate strategic initiatives aimed at improving project delivery, data utilization, technology integration, process standardization, and service delivery across A&CM.
-Support development and implementation of project controls frameworks, PMIS governance, performance management programs, and business process improvement initiatives.
-Serve as a liaison between P&OE and business units across A&CM, facilitating cross-functional coordination and helping resolve operational challenges impacting capital project delivery.
-Lead special projects and strategic initiatives on behalf of the Head of P&OE, including organizational improvement efforts, executive reporting initiatives, and implementation of new business practices and technologies.
-Analyze portfolio performance, operational data, and organizational metrics to support executive decision-making and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
-Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, recommendations, and briefing materials for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
-Represent the Head of P&OE in meetings, working groups, and strategic initiatives as assigned.

ADMINISTRATIVE PROJECT MANAGER - 8300B

Qualifications

1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in engineering, architecture, landscape architecture, business administration, or public administration, and five years of full-time satisfactory experience in the planning, administering or expediting of engineering design, and/or construction, or coordinating a very large engineering project, two years of which must have been in an administrative, managerial, executive or supervisory capacity; or
2. A four year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and nine years of experience as described in "1" above; two years of which must have been in an administrative, managerial, executive or supervisory capacity; or

3. Education and/or experience equivalent to "1" or "2" above. An accredited Master's degree in one of the disciplines described in "1" above, a law degree, or a valid New York State license as a Professional Engineer or Registered Architect or Landscape Architect may be substituted for one year of the required experience. However, all candidates must have the two years of the administrative, managerial, executive or supervisory experience as described in "1" above.
