Full Job Description
We help P&C carriers reinvent Underwriting and Claims through process redesign, operating model transformation, data-driven decisioning, and AI-enabled ways of working. As a Transformation Manager / Senior Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams to reimagine how work gets done, combining deep insurance expertise with advanced analytics and agentic AI and technology solutions to improve client outcomes. You will also play a key role in shaping solutions, growing client relationships, and driving business development. What You'll Do: Strategy & Operating Model • Assess current-state underwriting, claims, and operational processes to identify opportunities to reimagine and optimize outcomes.. • Lead end-to-end business process reinvention across Claims and Underwriting, redesigning workflows, roles, governance, decision rights, and performance management. • Define future-state operating models that blend human expertise, automation, analytics, and AI-enabled decision support. • Develop transformation roadmaps aligned to strategic business outcomes. AI, Data & Intelligent Workflows • Lead design of AI/agentic AI end-to-end processes and support enablement of those solutions. • Partner with engineering/data teams design and implement end-to-end agentic workflows with appropriate human in the loop controls. Delivery & Change Leadership • Manage end-to-end engagements (assessment 1 design 1 pilot 1 scale); set OKRs, roadmaps, and benefits realization. • Lead small to large teams; coach analysts/consultants and client SMEs; drive stakeholder alignment across Claims, Product / UW, and Enterprise functions Client Growth & Thought Leadership • Shape proposals and solution architectures; craft business cases and delivery strategy, design, and execution projects • Build client executive relationships; contribute to industry PoVs that support Accenture's leadership position in the Insurance Consulting industry Responsibilities: • Apply structured problem solving, hypothesis-driven analysis, and creative thinking to solve complex business and operational challenges. • Challenge conventional operating models and identify opportunities to simplify, automate, and reinvent processes using emerging technologies. • Translate ambiguous business problems into practical, scalable solutions that deliver measurable value. • Develop new ideas and help turn them into go-to-market offerings. • Define methods and procedures for new assignments with guidance. • Manage small teams or work efforts at client sites or within Accenture. • Work as part of a team delivering client value at the intersection of business and technology. • Perform product management and/or product owner responsibilities in the context of consulting and technology implementations. • Travel up to 80%. Basic Qualifications • Minimum of 7 years of experience in management consulting and/or industry experience in Property & Casualty insurance, including Claims and Underwriting. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in process engineering, data/analysis, program management, and /or leading complex business / technology deliveries. • Bachelor's Degree Preferred Qualifications • Deep functional knowledge of insurance across the value chain (e.g., underwriting, claims, operations, distribution) with the ability to connect strategy to day-to-day execution. • Proven ability to lead end-to-end process reinvention, including redesigning workflows, roles, and decision rights to materially improve cost, cycle time, and customer outcomes. • Experience defining and implementing target operating models that integrate business, technology, data, and AI to sustainably scale value. • Working knowledge of AI and agentic AI applications in insurance (e.g., automation, fraud detection, decision support, predictive analytics) and the ability to translate concepts into practical use cases. • Strong execution mindset with a track record of converting vision into actionable roadmaps, measurable outcomes, and realized business impact. • Demonstrated leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to build high performing teams and partner effectively across business, technology, and risk/compliance functions.
