Ozone Production Manager

Location:

Cincinnati, OH

Director of Operations

Position Summary:

The Ozone Production Manager is responsible for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the Ozone production unit, supporting integration with Fatty Acids (FA) and Oleobasics (OB Segment) operations.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee Ozone unit operations including ozonation processes and equipment performance.
• Ensure alignment with FA feedstock supply and OB Segment customer demand.
• Lead EHS compliance, incident investigations, and safety initiatives.
• Manage and develop operators and shift leads.
• Execute production schedules with Planning and Supply Chain.
• Partner with Quality and P&AD for product specifications and process improvements.
• Coordinate with Maintenance to improve reliability and uptime.
• Drive continuous improvement and cost optimization initiatives.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
7-10+ years of experience in chemical manufacturing operations.
Strong understanding of process safety and production systems.
ERP experience (SAP preferred).
Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in oleochemical manufacturing and ozone chemistry.
Familiarity with bulk liquid handling and rail logistics.
Experience in continuous improvement methodologies.

Working Conditions:

Plant-based role requiring PPE. On-call availability for operational needs.
