RN or LPN Nurse Supervisor to join our overnight leadership team. This is a working supervisor position responsible for providing both clinical and administrative leadership while ensuring the delivery of exceptional resident care.
The Nurse Supervisor is accountable for overseeing resident care, supporting nursing staff, coordinating staffing needs across all shifts, and fostering a culture of quality, teamwork, and resident-centered care.
Schedule- Full-Time, 40 Hours
- Overnight Shift: 10:45 PM - 7:15 AM
- Every Other Weekend
- Participation in the on-call weekend and holiday rotation
Competitive Compensation- LPN Supervisor: $35.50 - $40.78/hour, plus shift differential
- RN Supervisor: $39.50 - $47.21/hour, plus shift differential
- BSN RN Supervisor: $41.50 - $49.21/hour, plus shift differential
Sign-On / Retention BonusUp to $5,000Position Responsibilities- Coordinate and direct resident care services throughout the facility.
- Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff on all shifts.
- Collaborate with Nurse Managers and Unit Managers to ensure adequate staffing and effective clinical operations.
- Assist the Director of Nursing in evaluating departmental needs and identifying resources to support facility goals.
- Support and oversee resident assessments and the MDS/OBRA process.
- Assist with Infection Prevention, Employee Health, and Staff Development initiatives.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care conferences and family meetings.
- Assist with care plan development and resident assessments as needed.
- Monitor and evaluate nursing staff performance.
- Participate in staff coaching, counseling, and disciplinary processes.
- Support facility Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement efforts.
- Conduct hospital pre-admission screenings when needed.
- Attend and participate in committees, meetings, and educational conferences.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DPH, and regulatory standards.
- Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating staff education programs.
- Maintain resident privacy and confidentiality at all times.
- Participate in the orientation and onboarding of new employees.
- Promote positive collaboration between nursing and all facility departments.
- Provide direct resident care as necessary.
Qualifications- Current Massachusetts RN or LPN license in good standing.
- Long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation experience preferred.
- Prior supervisory or charge nurse experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to maintain reliable attendance and assigned work hours.
- Ability to perform essential job functions safely and effectively.
