Job DescriptionThe
Outsourcing Assembly Lead oversees planning, execution, and delivery of assembled equipment from 3rd Party Assemblers for water treatment projects.
You'll manage supplier relationships and ensure compliance with project specifications, schedules, and budgets while working closely with Project Managers, design teams, and stakeholders.
Key ResponsibilitiesProject & Supplier Management- Lead outsourcing activities from bid to delivery
- Oversee and supervise 3rd party supplier performance
- Administer contracts and maintain supplier relationships
- Monitor contract compliance during bid review and RFI/RFQ responses
Quality, Safety & Compliance- Monitor project execution against specifications and applicable codes
- Coordinate quality assurance and quality control activities
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and EHS requirements
- Manage contractor performance on schedule, quality, and safety
Cost & Schedule Management- Track project metrics and ensure cost, schedule, and quality standards are met
- Review change order requests and ensure proper documentation
- Report on project performance
Leadership- Mentor junior staff on assembly best practices
- Develop project management plans for complex installations
- Communicate with teams to resolve assembly issues.
QualificationsWhat We're Looking ForExperience Required- Minimum 5 years managing mechanical and electrical assembly on water treatment or similar industrial projects
- Demonstrated supplier management and oversight experience
- Strong understanding of supplier contracts and project administration
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to supplier sites (10-15%)
Experience Preferred- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience with fabricated and assembled skids
- Knowledge of water treatment technologies
- SAP experience
Skills Required- Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems for water treatment

Additional Information- Compensation - The salary range is tied to the market for similarly benchmarked roles. The range is not an absolute, but a guide, and offers will be based on the individual candidate's knowledge, skills, experience, and market conditions, as well as internal peer equity. Depending upon all the preceding considerations for the final selected individual candidate, the offer may be lower or higher than the stated range: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 USD annually
