Pay:

$110,000 plus, depending on experience.

A GLIMPSE INTO YOUR DAY

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will aggressively identify and target new clients while expanding growth opportunities within our existing client base to significantly drive top-line revenue. You own the top of the sales funnel, proactively prospecting to secure meetings with target accounts, while strategizing to effectively penetrate specific prospects. Your day includes delivering clear, impactful communications that position Johnstone Supply as a value creator. As you nurture deeper partnerships, you'll maintain strong, ongoing client communication, offer innovative solutions, and uncover unmet needs. Collaboration with internal teams will ensure our clients' long-term satisfaction and growth by building relationships that go beyond mere transactions.

REQUIREMENTS FOR AN OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 2+ years of direct sales experience
  • Honest, loyal, and ethical
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Committed to achieving sales goals
  • Ability to build long-term customer relationships
  • Ability to maintain a professional, positive, courteous, and friendly
  • Excellent verbal and written skills
  • Strong project management and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent negotiation and objection-countering skills
  • Knowledge of principles and methods of selling products and services
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, CRM software, email, and internet-based research
  • Ability to manage coworker and customer interactions with tact and diplomacy
  • Ability to travel frequently to customer locations
  • A commitment to maintaining strict confidentiality on all corporate matters
  • 3+ years of direct sales experience is preferred
  • Direct sales experience in the business-to-business HVAC/R or similar industry is a plus
