Position SummaryThe
Compact Construction Equipment (CCE)Outside Sales Representative is responsible for managing key customer accounts, driving sales, and ensuring exceptional customer service and effective leadership. This role focuses on building strong customer relationships, delivering product solutions, and optimizing operational processes to meet sales objectives and exceed customer expectations. You will spend at least 50% of your time out of the office prospecting leads and managing accounts.
You will be responsible for:
- Developing and growing key customer accounts through consultative selling, strategic business development, and regular on-site customer visits that generate revenue growth.
- Leveraging a consultative sales approach to identify customer challenges and deliver equipment, technology, and service solutions that improve operational efficiency, reduce risk, and increase profitability.
- Executing strategic territory and account plans to maximize customer engagement, sales opportunities, and market penetration.
- Achieving and exceeding sales quotas, revenue targets, and market share objectives within an assigned territory.
- Driving equipment replacement cycles and cultivating future sales opportunities through proactive customer outreach and long-term account planning.
- Representing the company in the sale of equipment, parts, labor, and technology-based products and services.
- Maintaining knowledge of customer operational requirements, industry trends, and business goals to align solutions with evolving needs.
- Monitoring competitive activity and market conditions to identify opportunities and support strategic sales initiatives.

Experience, Education, Skills, and Knowledge To be successful in this role, you should have:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent customer relationship skills with current and future decision-makers
- Equipment sales experience preferred
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
