You will use sound judgment to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day technical and operational challenges while escalating issues with broader business impact when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Perform the role of contract administrator for assigned outplant terminals.
• Utilize logistics knowledge, technical expertise and operations experience to assist in correcting process or equipment issues which improve process performance and reliability.
• Work with technical advising and logistics operations personnel to improve and optimize operations.
• Lead advanced troubleshooting and coach others to learn these skills.
• Ensure Most Effective Technology and specific operating discipline requirements are in place.
• Support procurement tender negotiation and implementation with operational expertise.
• Conduct terminal review meetings and drives continuous improvement efforts between terminals, business planners, logistics, safety, and quality.
• Add value to logistics work processes by participating in process business/functional improvement efforts.
• Identify opportunities to minimize cost-to-serve through process improvements and lead logistics initiatives and projects in areas of expertise.
• Contribute to the development of logistics plans consistent with business/functional responsibility. (For example, S&OP focal point).
• Serve as the Dow and terminal focal point for mode QNs, investigations, corrective actions, and issue escalation and acts as RCI team Lead for P1 events.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a bachelor's degree OR relevant military experience at or above a U.S. E5 or Canadian Petty Officer 2nd Class or Sergeant ranking OR 10 years of relevant working experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a Supply Chain or Manufacturing environment.
• A minimum requirement for this U.S. based position is the ability to work legally in the United States. No visa sponsorship/support is available for this position, including for any type of U.S. permanent residency (green card) process.
