Middlesex Health is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to join our expanding Adult Outpatient Mental Health Services team. Position HighlightsThis full-time, 40-hour outpatient Psychiatrist position offers the opportunity to build a rewarding practice while working alongside an experienced multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, psychiatric APRNs, therapists, social workers, nurses, and support staff.
In this role, you will:
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for adult patients in an outpatient setting
- Develop individualized treatment plans and collaborate closely with therapists and other members of the care team
- Support continuity of care across the mental health services continuum, including transitions from inpatient, emergency, crisis, and intensive outpatient services
- Practice in a collegial environment that values physician input, clinical excellence, and innovation
- Enjoy a predictable outpatient schedule with minimal call responsibilities
- Academic and teaching opportunities, including Middlesex Family Medicine Residents and medical students from Yale/The University of Connecticut
Qualifications- MD or DO from an accredited medical school
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
- Eligibility for Connecticut medical licensure
