Position Highlights As Associate Program Director for Ambulatory & Community Medicine, you will play a key role in designing and continuously improving the residency experience in outpatient and community-based medicine. Working closely with the Program Director, you will have the opportunity to help define what excellent ambulatory medical education looks like within a growing residency program.
- Educational Leadership: Lead and continuously evolve the ambulatory and community medicine curriculum, with opportunities to develop innovative approaches to longitudinal learning, primary care, population health, and community-based care. - Protected Academic Time: Dedicated administrative time for curriculum development, resident education and mentorship, faculty collaboration, assessment, and program leadership.

Requirements- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine
- Passion for Medical Education: Demonstrated interest in teaching, mentoring, and developing physicians
- Leadership and Academic Interest: Demonstrated leadership experience or a strong interest in developing as a leader within graduate medical education
- Patient-Centered Approach: Commitment to providing compassionate, evidence-based, high-quality care
- Arizona Medical Licensure: Must hold or be eligible for Arizona state medical licensure
