We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist for an inpatient unit.
The facility has a total of 189 beds, including ICU and telemetry units.
The average hospital census is 150 patients.
The role includes working in a variety of settings, including inpatient and outpatient services.
The patient population includes adults and geriatric individuals with orthopedic, neurological, and pulmonary complications.
Hand therapy is a significant component of this position.
Floating between inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings may be required.
Collaboration with therapy leaders and a team of licensed staff members will be expected.
A general department orientation will be provided.
The work environment requires flexibility with shift assignments, with the possibility of weekend shifts.
Wound care experience is a plus as the team includes specialized therapists.
The area offers various recreational opportunities for weekend getaways.
Cancellation of shifts may occur as per the facility's policies.
