Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Operational Technology (OT) in manufacturing environments.
• Hands-on experience with OPC UA, OPC DA, PLC integration, SCADA systems, and industrial automation networks.
• Familiarity with ISA-95, ISA-88, and MESA standards.
• Expertise in manufacturing operations including production and quality metrics, material tracking, and electronic batch records.
• Proficient in troubleshooting connectivity issues among PLCs, SCADA, OPC, and MES systems.
• Experience guiding the MES implementation lifecycle from requirements to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Lead integration activities between MES and operational technologies like PLCs and SCADA.
• Support the development of interfaces connecting MES, SAP, and other enterprise systems.
• Drive data enablement from shop-floor systems to MES environments.
• Configure and validate OPC UA connectivity and tag mapping for accuracy.
• Collaborate with IT and automation teams to address integration challenges.
• Assist in testing and go-live activities, ensuring smooth transitions.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and increased operational efficiency.
