Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in OSP fielding, construction, or engineering with hands-on survey experience (aerial & underground)
• In-depth knowledge of poles, anchors, conduits, handholes, manholes, splice points, and utilities
• Understanding of PTA, pole transfers, overlash feasibility, pole loading, and clearance calculations
• Practical experience with U.S. ROW/municipal permitting, DOT, utility attachments, and railroad permitting
• Proficient with mapping and design tools such as IQGEO, AutoCAD, and various GIS software
• Skilled in using field tools like GPS, laser rangefinders, and measuring wheels
• Familiarity with engineering standards and processes specific to U.S. operators.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site surveys for OSP design and engineering
• Guide and mentor OSP fielders on best practices and safety standards
• Develop and implement training programs to improve field package quality
• Conduct periodic audits and feedback sessions for continuous improvement in fielding standards
• Identify conflicts and constructability constraints in the field
• Collaborate with Project Managers and engineering teams to resolve field issues
• Ensure adherence to safety and local authority standards during field operations.
