East Hawaii Medical Group is in search of a Orthopedic Surgeon to join our East Hawai'i Health Orthopedics clinic. Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive orthopedic evaluations, including detailed medical histories, physical examinations, and appropriate diagnostic imaging and laboratory studies.
  • Diagnose and manage a broad range of orthopedic conditions, with a particular focus on shoulder and upper-extremity disorders, including rotator cuff disease, shoulder instability, labral injuries, arthritis, fractures, and other musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, clinical findings, functional goals, preferences, and medical history.
  • Provide both non-operative and operative management of shoulder conditions, including appropriate use of conservative therapies, injections, rehabilitation, and surgical intervention when indicated.
  • Perform orthopedic surgical procedures, including shoulder arthroscopy, rotator cuff repair, treatment of shoulder instability, labral procedures, and shoulder arthroplasty.
  • Evaluate and manage acute orthopedic injuries, including fractures, dislocations, and other traumatic conditions involving the shoulder and upper extremity.

Education Requirements:
  • MD or DO
  • BC/BE in specialty
