ResponsibilitiesReporting to the HR Director, the Organizational Performance Specialist:
Develops and sustains developmental processes and tools, supporting a highly engaged workforce and impacting overall organizational performance.
Partners with the Quality team, authors, communicates and trains production staff on work instructions and quality processes.
Completes Needs Assessments for competency gaps for various staff and levels of the organization.
Creates organizational KPI’s, allowing for tracking of overall company performance.
Creates, authors and communicates customer profiles relative to product.
Assists the HR Director in the communication of branding vehicles for company Purpose and Values.
Utilizing the LMS platform, manages the Safety Training content and compliance for all employees.
Evaluates training effectiveness through identified processes related to company strategy.
Maintains a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes, procedures, and methodologies.
Partners with the HR Manager for content creation for the Company newsletter.
Develops communication processes to the entire organization regarding overall company performance.
Develops and manages a rotating “performance coaching” role for hourly production staff and mentors the same.
Participates in new hire onboarding for further branding purposes.
Partners with the HR Director in the creation of a high performance culture and values stream.
Qualifications
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of three years in a training role in a production environment.
- Experience formalizing training with production staff; to include facilitation and content development.
- Competence in developing training content and evaluation.
- Understanding and demonstrated experience in effective training methodology.
- Strong analytical skills to create KPI's and track data.
- Working knowledge of at least one training platform, such as ADP Learning or Vector is beneficial.
- Comfortable interacting on the production floor. We are a heat treater for automotive; therefore, tolerance of warm temperatures in the summer is necessary.
- An undergraduate degree in a related field of study or a trainer certification in lieu of a degree is acceptable.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- An analytical approach to problem solving.
The target compensation range for this role starts at $74,000+.
