The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time ORDNANCE EQUIPMENT MECHANIC SUPERVISOR, WS-6641-11, to work at the Air Force Materiel Command, (AFMC) in the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) in the Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC) with 309 MMXG at VANDENBERG AFB located in LOMPOC, CA. 2026 Salary Range: ($93,685-$109,275) / Yearly with locality

The primary purpose of this position is: To exercise technical and administrative supervision over subordinate workers in accomplishing trades and labor work to provide depot level maintenance on Minuteman ICBM launch components and missile alert facilities.

The organizational goals or objectives of this position: To provide engineering and logistical support, depot maintenance and refurbishment of unique equipment used to support Minuteman Follow-On Test and Evaluation Launch Program.

Qualifications:

- U.S. Citizenship

- Obtain & maintain Security clearance

- This may be a designated Drug Testing Position

- Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical (if applicable)

- The employee may be required to work extended or other than normal duty hours to include overtime, and/or days, swings, or owl shifts.

- The employee may be required to work during base exercises, contingencies or emergency situations.

- The employee may occasionally travel away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft IAW Joint Travel Regulations to other government installations, contractor facilities, or other commercial Locations for both training and mission accomplishment.

1. Knowledge of a wide range of principles, processes, and techniques of trade(s) and/or craft(s) supervised and personnel management policies, practices, and procedures, including sexual harassment and Equal Employment Opportunity/ Equal Employment Treatment.

2. Knowledge of safety regulations, practices, and procedures.

3. Knowledge of the use and maintenance of hand and power tools, equipment, and precision measuring and /or test equipment common to trades supervised.

4. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, sketches, and technical specifications.

5. Ability to plan and organize work assignments to include determining resources required to accomplish mission.
