A Snapshot of Your Day

As the Order & Execution Manager for Transmission Services, you will lead the end-to-end execution organization responsible for transforming customer demands into executable service solutions. Your day includes coordinating proposal development, aligning technical and commercial strategies, and overseeing project execution teams to deliver high-quality service contracts.

You will collaborate across proposal specialists, project engineers, global teams, and supply chain partners to ensure seamless transition from tendering to execution, while maintaining accountability for cost, schedule, and performance outcomes. Your leadership will enable scalable growth, faster decision-making, and improved execution quality in a growing HVDC/FACTS and service portfolio.

How You'll Make an Impact:
  • Leading and managing the Orders & Execution organization, including proposal specialists, project engineers, and execution-focused teams supporting HVDC and FACTS service projects
  • Owning the end-to-end lifecycle from proposal development through project execution, ensuring strong alignment across sales, engineering, and operations
  • Overseeing development of technical proposals, cost models, and commercial strategies to deliver competitive and compliant service bids
  • Driving collaboration with global stakeholders, including Germany, to deliver complete bid packages and ensure smooth handover from tendering to execution
  • Managing project planning, resource allocation, and execution oversight to meet customer expectations for schedule, cost, quality, and risk management
  • Building a high-performing, scalable team while driving continuous improvement initiatives to increase win rates, execution efficiency, and customer satisfaction
Travel, as needed (~20-30%)

What You Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • 10 or more years of experience in HV transmission, FACTS, HVDC, or service project execution. Candidates with more experience can be considered for a higher level or vice-versa.
  • Proven leadership experience managing proposal teams, project engineers, and execution teams within complex technical environments
  • Strong expertise in service tenders, cost estimation, contract management, and execution delivery; HVDC/FACTS experience highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large, complex programs or multiple projects simultaneously with full accountability
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with experience driving operational excellence, process improvements, and cost optimization

Our Grid Technology division enables a reliable, sustainable, and digital grid! The power grid is the backbone of the energy transition. Siemens Energy offers a leading portfolio and solutions in HVDC transmission, grid stabilization and storage, high voltage switchgears and transformers, and digital grid technology.

You will lead the newly established Orders & Execution function, created to provide clear ownership across the proposal and execution phases of the service lifecycle. This organizational evolution improves scalability, reduces execution risks, and enables faster and more effective decision-making in a growing and complex portfolio.

The team includes Proposal Specialists, Project Engineers, and execution-focused roles, working closely with global partners and field organizations to deliver high-impact FACTS and HVDC service solutions across North America.
