As an Orbital Analyst, Space Ground Systems, you will support key day-to-day processes such as: technical support for observatory operations, configuring edge compute capabilities within Windows and Linux and assisting with satellite tracking data analysis. This role is integral in maintaining the accuracy, completeness and integrity of the Anduril space object catalog and the derived products meet established customer standards. This hands-on operations and analysis role is centered on catalog maintenance, data curation and quality assurance. Success depends on attention to detail, disciplined process and clear communication with fellow analysts as well as across the business line. THIS ROLE IS A CONTRIBUTOR ON A TEAM THAT OPERATES 24/7. WHAT YOU'LL DO 3 Contribute to monitoring and analysis of global telescope network operations 3 Identify knowledge articles and SOPs for network operations. 3 Triage issues, root cause failures, and coordinate next-steps. 3 Create and analyze metrics that are leveraged for debugging and monitoring. 3 Contribute to software solutions to increase efficiency. 3 Partner with end-users to turn needs into features while balancing user experience with engineering constraints. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS 3 Engineering background from industry or school, ideally in areas/fields such as Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics. 3 Ability to quickly understand and navigate complex systems and detailed requirements. 3 Capable of solving complex technical problems with little oversight. 3 Clear communication and organizational skills including documentation and training material. 3 Comfort working in a monitoring and operations environment that may include shift, on-call and/or extended hours coverage. 3 Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS 3 Experience with orbital mechanics and characteristics of satellite orbit regimes. 3 Familiarity with space domain awareness concepts, space object catalogs and/or conjunction/maneuver analysis. 3 Exposure to telescope, or other phenomenology, observation data. 3 At least 3+ years working with a variety of programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, Rust, Go, JavaScript, etc. 3 A desire to work on critical software in the space domain. 3 Be prepared to discuss shift availability for a 24/7 team. US Salary Range $132,000-$198,000 USD The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
