Oracle Solutions Architect Manager
Location- Washington, DC (Hybrid)This program requires US CitizenshipThe Oracle Solutions Architect Manager serves as the primary technical and functional design authority for the Oracle E-Business Suite R12 platform. This leader defines the end-to-end application architecture, integration patterns, modernization roadmap, compliance posture, and cross-module governance framework-consistent with enterprise standards. The role manages architects, leads solution design reviews, and partners closely with business and IT leadership to ensure scalable, secure, and compliant EBS capabilities. This role is central to ERP modernization, system integration (including OCI/OIC), and enterprise architecture alignment, similar to the themes discussed in the USAC ERP Modernization Instance Plan/Hosting Plan and Configuration Management Plan Walkthrough.
Key ResponsibilitiesEnterprise Architecture & Solution Design- EBS R12 Architecture Ownership - Own end-to-end solution architecture aligned with enterprise standards, financial controls, and modernization strategy.
- Cross Module Design Patterns - Define and govern P2P, O2C, B2R, FA-GL, PA -GL patterns ensuring technical + functional integrity.
- Design Authority Leadership - Lead reviews for enhancements, integrations, customizations, and RICEW objects.
- Cloud Architecture Governance - Direct architectural decisions for OCI-hosted environments in partnership with middleware and security teams.
Leadership & Team Management- Architect Team Leadership - Lead solution architects, functional leads, and senior developers across Financials, Procurement, Projects, and integrations.
- Governance Framework Enforcement - Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture and modernization governance.
- Mentorship & Best Practices - Mentor team members and enforce standards for documentation, design quality, and operational readiness.
Integration & Middleware Strategy- OIC & API Integration Strategy - Oversee OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, staging tables, FBDI, outbound interfaces, and real time services.
- Hosting & Modernization Alignment - Ensure integration architecture aligns with operational and hosting standards referenced in USAC modernization plans.
- End to End Data Flow Resilience - Partner with data, security, and network teams to maintain secure, compliant data flows.
EBS Lifecycle, Upgrades & Online Patching- ADOP Cycle Leadership - Direct planning and execution of R12.2 ADOP cycles ensuring architectural consistency.
- EBR/ADOP Compliance - Validate custom code, integrations, workflows, and bolt-ons for EBR/ADOP readiness.
- Performance & Scalability - Oversee performance tuning and environment design across dev/test/prod tiers.
Security, Controls & Compliance- Role Design & SOD Governance - Govern role design, SOD enforcement, audit requirements, and system controls.
- Security by Design - Ensure architectural designs incorporate data protection and compliance ready processes.
Stakeholder Engagement & Roadmap Leadership- Executive Liaison - Act as senior technical partner to Finance, Procurement, and Operations leaders.
- Modernization Roadmap Leadership - Support executive planning sessions and architecture reviews aligned with USAC modernization themes.
- Executive Documentation - Produce architectural documentation, decision records, and executive?level readouts.
Required Skills & Experience- Oracle EBS Expertise - 10+ years EBS experience; 5+ years architecture/solution design leadership.
- ADOP/EBR Mastery - Deep knowledge of R12.2 online patching and cross module dependencies.
- Integration Engineering - Strong experience with OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, FBDI, and staging table frameworks.
- Financials/Procurement/Projects - Expertise across core modules and associated data models.
- Compliance & Governance - Strong understanding of SOD, audit frameworks, and governance controls.
- Modernization Leadership - Experience leading ERP modernization or cloud migration programs.
- Executive Communication - Ability to translate complex architecture for executive audiences.
Preferred Qualifications- OCI Modernization Experience - Experience delivering EBS modernization in OCI.
- API Gateway & DevOps - Familiarity with API Gateway, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud native observability.
- Professional Certifications - PMP, TOGAF, or Oracle Cloud certifications.
Position Details: - Pay Rate / Range:$85-$100/hr
The above salary range represents the range expected for the position; however, final salary offers are based on a number of factors such as the position's responsibilities; the candidate's experience, education, and skills; location; travel required; and current market conditions.
