Job Title: Oracle Middleware Performance Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite)
Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Middleware Performance Engineer with strong expertise in database performance tuning middleware administration resiliency analysis and diagnostic troubleshooting.
The ideal candidate will have handson experience with Oracle OEMAWR tools SQL tuning middleware platforms such as WebSphere JBoss and Tomcat along with exposure to Cassandra and network analysis tools like Wireshark
This role requires a deep understanding of performance optimization resiliency engineering and call pattern analysis using IBM diagnostic tools
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and optimize Oracle database performance using OEM AWR ASH and ADDM
Perform SQL query tuning and troubleshooting using Toad SQL Developer
Manage and support middleware environments including WebSphere JBoss and Tomcat
Investigate application performance bottlenecks across database middleware and network layers
Support Cassandra performance monitoring and troubleshooting
Use Wireshark and other tools to perform network traffic and latency analysis
Conduct call pattern analysis and resiliency assessments using IBM diagnostic tools
Work closely with application infrastructure and support teams to improve system stability and scalability
Provide recommendations for performance optimization and system resiliency improvements
