Full Job Description
The Oracle EBS Lead provides techno-functional leadership for the design, delivery, integration, and support of Oracle E-Business Suite R12.2.x solutions. This role partners with business and IT stakeholders to translate enterprise requirements into scalable solutions across Order-to-Cash (O2C), Supply Chain Management (SCM), Warehouse Management (WMS), Oracle Financials, and preferably Oracle Process Manufacturing (OPM).

The Lead owns solution architecture, development standards, technical delivery, testing, release readiness, and production support; guides developers and functional analysts; and ensures secure, supportable integrations with enterprise applications. The role also evaluates Oracle patches, upgrades, and product enhancements for business impact, risk, and adoption.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the Oracle EBS application roadmap and delivery portfolio, aligning enhancements, upgrades, and support priorities with business strategy.
  • Partner with business process owners to assess current and future states, define requirements, and design scalable solutions across O2C, SCM, WMS, Financials, and OPM.
  • Own solution architecture and technical design for extensions, interfaces, conversions, reports, workflows, and forms while minimizing unnecessary customization.
  • Direct technical delivery using SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Forms, Oracle Reports, BI Publisher, Web ADI, Oracle Workflow, APIs, and concurrent programs.
  • Lead integration design and support between Oracle EBS and WMS, 3PL, e-commerce, data, financial, and other enterprise platforms, ensuring reliable data flow and process continuity.
  • Establish development, documentation, version-control, testing, security, and deployment standards that support auditability and future upgrades.
  • Plan and coordinate unit, system integration, regression, user acceptance, and performance testing; ensure defects are resolved and releases are production ready.
  • Evaluate Oracle patches, critical updates, and R12.2.x enhancements; perform impact assessments and coordinate application, database, infrastructure, and business teams.
  • Lead incident, problem, and root-cause analysis for complex production issues involving custom code, workflows, interfaces, concurrent processing, and data integrity.
  • Manage project plans, estimates, milestones, risks, dependencies, budgets, and status reporting for assigned initiatives.
  • Mentor developers and analysts, review designs and code, delegate work effectively, and build sustainable team capability.
  • Maintain effective stakeholder relationships and communicate technical topics in clear business language, including options, trade-offs, risks, and recommendations.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • 8+ years of progressive Oracle EBS techno-functional experience, including leadership of implementations, upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and production support in Oracle EBS R12.2.x environments.
  • Demonstrated ownership of end-to-end delivery across O2C, SCM, WMS, and Financials; OPM experience is highly desirable.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, mentor technical resources, manage delivery priorities, and communicate solution decisions, risks, and status to business and IT leadership.
  • Must have implementation experience with a deep understanding of the Oracle EBS R12.2.x suite of applications.
  • Experience troubleshooting issues and providing timely resolution to end users.
