Full Job Description
Summary:

  • Client Agency is Defense Logistics Agency
  • A CURRENT U.S. Government TOP SECRET Clearance or above. Sponsorship will not be provided.
  • Will be responsible for providing all activities related to the administration of computerized databases.
  • Project long-range requirements for database administration and design in conjunction with other managers in the information systems function.
  • Design, create, and maintain databases in a client/server environment.
  • Conduct quality control and auditing of databases in a client/server environment to ensure accurate and appropriate use of data.
  • Advise users on access to various client/server databases.
  • Design, implement, and maintain complex databases with respect to JCL, access methods, access time, device allocation, validation checks, organization, protection and security, documentation, and statistical methods.
  • Apply knowledge and experience with database technologies, development methodologies, and front-end/back-end programming languages (e.g., SQL).
  • Perform database programming and supports systems design.
  • Provide maintenance of database dictionaries, overall monitoring of standards and procedures, file design and storage, and integration of systems through database design.


Requirements:

  • Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC). (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies)
  • A CURRENT U.S. Government TOP SECRET Clearance or above. Sponsorship will not be provided.
  • Must have one of the following certifications: CCNA Security, CySA+, GISCP, GSEC, CompTIA Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIIH, CCSP.
  • Must have one of the following certifications: Microsoft Certified Administrator SQL Server, Microsoft Certified Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Microsoft Certified IT Professional Database Administrator, Microsoft Certified Master SQL Server, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate, Oracle Certified Professional Database, Microsoft Certified Solutions Master.
  • Must have one of the following certifications: MC: Azure Security Engineer, MC: Azure Database Administrator Associate, MC: Azure Administrator Associate.
  • Must have 5+ years of progressive experience of database query languages Oracle, PL SQL, SQL Server, and MS Access.
  • Must have 3+ years hands-on experience and expertise in Relational Database Management Systems.
  • Must have the ability to work on various operating systems and additional programming languages.
  • Must have experience with Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Must have hands on experience with Tomcat.
  • Must have hands on experience completing two or more projects in a large organization responsible for administering, operating, maintaining, and securing a large-scale computer database.
  • Must be willing and able to work standard EST hours (9am-5pm EST).


Preferred Requirements:

  • Experience acting as a Windows Systems Administrator.
  • Hands-on experience in managing a windows server platform.
  • 2+ years of experience with Human Resources IT systems.
