Responsibilities

Role: Oracle Cloud Integration Architect

Role Description: The WMS Architect is accountable for proactively and holistically leading or supporting EA activities that create deliverables that guide the direction and drive targeted business outcomes. WMS Architect is a hands-on role focused on defining and implementing Oracle Cloud solutions/integrations addressing business requirements and priorities for the WMS process area. The WMS Architect will be primarily focused to architect technology solutions from Oracle Fusion Cloud to/fro WMS Applications (preferable Manhattan WMS modules (WMOS & Manhattan TMS)).

WMS Architect provides the leadership, analysis and design tasks required for the development of the architecture. They work towards the Architecture spike to assess & gather artifacts towards the current state architecture and propose future state architecture for the application. WMS Architect will ensure application stability to Scholastic business towards WMS Other related business system applications and prepare guidelines to support Scholastic events without causing any impact to revenue.

In the context of a project, the WMS Architect reports into Director, Oracle Cloud Applications & Business Systems Architecture and partners closely with the Project Manager to ensure requirements are clearly understood, and translates these requirements into necessary application and technology components that meet the business need. The WMS Architect is responsible for ensuring that their solutions meet both the functional and technology requirements outlined for the project. The candidate must have strong communication skills, full life-cycle experience as well as excellent skills in architecture and designing robust yet pragmatic solutions using Oracle Cloud SaaS applications & Manhattan WMS software.

Must Have Experience:
  • Minimum of five years of design and implementation experience in IT, with deep knowledge in a minimum of two of the following technical disciplines: infrastructure and network design, application development, application programming interfaces (APIs), middleware, servers and storage, database management, and operations
  • Deep hands-on expertise with Oracle's cloud SOACS stack of technology
  • Technical leadership experience with guiding technical resources working on multiple projects
  • Experience in architecting real time solutions for Cloud, e-commerce, WMS (on premise) and Oracle Fusion ERP
  • Integration experience with varied transformative system environments
  • Tracking of Project Deliverables
  • Works independently
