Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced
Oracle Cloud HCM Consultant specializing in
Approval Management (BPM / Workflow Administration) and Redwood UI configurations across Oracle Cloud HCM. In this role, you will design, build, test, and optimize complex approval routing rules, automated business processes, and personalizations across HCM modules.
You will partner closely with Core HR, T&L, AM, Compensation, Payroll, and Technical Leads to translate complex business policies into seamless, scalable Oracle Cloud workflows.
Key Responsibilities- Workflow & Approval Administration: Design, build, and maintain conditional approval rules in Oracle Cloud HCM using Transaction Console and BPM Worklist.
- Transaction Management & Support: Monitor the Transaction Console to diagnose, re-route, or resolve stuck approvals, error conditions, and workflow failures across core HR processes.
- Rule Logic & Routing: Build logic based on Areas of Responsibility (AOR), supervisory hierarchies, position structures, and custom approval groups.
- Testing & Release Maintenance: Perform end-to-end testing of approval flows and UI rules in lower environments during quarterly Oracle Cloud updates to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Documentation: Maintain clear approval matrices and configuration documentation for HR Operations and system administrators.
- Redwood UI & Business Rules: Configure fields, regions, and business rules within VB Studio (Express Mode) and HCM Experience Design Studio to set defaults, require attributes, hide/show regions, or enforce page validations.
Qualifications & Technical SkillsRequired:- 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring Oracle Cloud HCM Workflows and Approvals.
- Strong working knowledge of BPM Worklist, Transaction Console, and Approval Groups.
- Solid understanding of Oracle HCM core structures: Person/Assignment models, Supervisory Hierarchies, and Areas of Responsibility (AOR).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot failed transactions, rule syntax errors, and routing exceptions.
Preferred:- Hands-on experience personalizing Redwood UI pages using Visual Builder Studio (VB Studio / Express Mode) and Business Rules (Field & Region rules, Validations, Defaulting).
- Experience managing approval configurations across quarterly Oracle Cloud releases.
- Oracle Cloud HCM Implementation or Functional Certification.
