Job Summary and Qualifications- You will be responsible for the supervision, coordination, and evaluation of business practices and procedures related to the operating room
- You will also coordinate and supervise the OR analyst, and the charge entry secretary
- You will assist the Department Director in the implementation of Performance Improvement activities, hospital policies/ procedures and in the financial management of the Unit
- You will be responsible for the surgical revenue cycle; complete billing/charging on a daily basis, create supply Item Add requests, and reconcile ancillary charge reports
- You will create NPS and department reports to provide statistics/ data for Administration, QI/QM, Finance, Surgical Service, Special Projects
- You will support hospital staff as requested and coordinate with other departments needs as they interface to OR/ PACU nursing/ scheduling documentation
What qualifications you will need:- Bachelor's Degree required
- Working knowledge of OR Operations required
- Previous management experience or demonstrated ability to serve in a leadership position preferred
- Experience in Meditech preferred
- This position has no responsibility to treat or care for patients
